The Monarch of the Glen

The Monarch of the Glen

Neil Gaiman

The Monarch of the Glen is determined within the universe of American Gods.

Shadow unearths himself in Scotland, employed to bodyguard a celebration opposed to gatecrashers, via a bit health professional who calls him a monster and tells him, “I am anything of a monster myself. Like calls to love. we're all monsters, are we now not? excellent monsters, shambling throughout the swamps of unreason . . . “

‘The Monarch of the Glen’ is billed as “an American Gods novella”.

For my cash it’s larger conceptualised as a longer epilogue to ‘American Gods’... As in its mum or dad novel, ‘The Monarch of the Glen’ good points gods and monsters, myths and legends, all in mundane guises.
