How Bluegrass Music Destroyed My Life

How Bluegrass Music Destroyed My Life

John Fahey

A selection of fictional yet semi-autobiographical tales, this paintings comes from some of the most influential guitarists in song historical past. The stories are recalled in a conversational, feverish tone, following the musician in his adolescence and younger maturity in post-World struggle II suburbia, pausing alongside the way in which for moments of readability and introspection. The tales face up to categorization—part memoir, half own essay, half fiction, and half manifesto they just stand on my own, having their very own good judgment, non secular dogma, and mythological history.
