Armageddon must have ended with Heaven profitable, ushering in an period of peace. that is what the prophecies stated. as a substitute, the 2 armies--one of angels, certainly one of demons--hunker down within the scorched planet, lick their wounds, and kit up for a protracted battle with out lead to sight.

In this chaos of warring armies and ruined landscapes, Laila does not are looking to take facets. Her mom was once an angel, her father a demon; she is outcast from either camps. And but either armies want her, for along with her combined blood, Laila can develop into the final word spy... or final soldier. because the armies of Heaven and Hell pursue her, Laila's merely conflict is inside of her heart--a fight among her demonic and heavenly blood.
