No reader of this ebook will ever examine a reconstructed dress in a museum or at a ancient competition, or watch a movie with a ancient subject matter back and not using a heightened understanding of the way, why, and from what assets, the costumes have been reconstructed. The seventeen participants come from various disciplines: archaeologists, historians, curators with ethnological and anthropological backgrounds, designers, a weaver, a conservator and a student of style in cinema, and are all experts attracted to historic or old gown who desire to proportion their wisdom and services with scholars, pastime fans and the overall reader. The anthology can also be instructed to be used in educating scholars at layout faculties.
