Paul Moorcraft

In 1329, a gorgeous Surrey lady is walled up alive within the village church of Shere. The Anchoress’ tale is taken up past due during this century by means of deranged Catholic priest Father Michael Duval.
Gradually, separate sagas spread: the area of the center a while established on Christine’s entombment, and the 1967 abduction of a tender lady from Guildford.
In a chain of unique twists, the medieval international of knights, debauchery, peasant uprisings and civil battle merges right into a smooth hunt for a serial killer. The tragedy of the anchoress relies upon historic evidence, but it's also an exploration of the main dramatic issues of this day: sexual freedom, and the ability of trust, religious bondage and the person look for self-fulfillment.
Above all, this can be a gripping experience tale of a love so obsessive that it spans greater than six hundred years.
