Carver, an outdated BBC hack, is warned off a narrative while a bomb is going off, killing an area reputable in Kabul, yet his instincts inform him whatever isn't really particularly correct, and he will not quit until eventually he unearths the reality. A junior manufacturer despatched out from London to regulate him is abducted, and because the tale unravels it seems like there is collusion among the neighborhood consul, Whitehall and anyone within the BBC to make sure the genuine tale by no means sees the sunshine of day.
